Flair is a custom fabricator. We manufacture filtration equipment against the process conditions, drawings and specifications supplied by the customer, in the size, material, construction and filtration rating the application requires.
The categories below indicate the scope of what we build. They are not a limit on it. Where a requirement falls outside them, send the drawing or the specification and we will engineer against it.
Cast and fabricated pot type, for pump suction and line duty.

The same three steps apply to every order, from the process data you send us to the code the finished unit is signed off against.
Provide the flow rate, the fluid, the operating temperature and pressure, and the permissible pressure drop. We calculate the required screen area, select the element type, mesh and material of construction, and issue a general arrangement drawing for approval before fabrication begins.
The design office, fabrication shop, machining, testing and painting facilities all sit within our own unit. No stage of manufacture is subcontracted, which allows any revision raised at inspection to be drawn, cut and re-tested in the same shop, without impact on the delivery schedule.
Pressure vessels are built to ASME Section VIII Division 1, and to IBR where the duty falls under Indian Boiler Regulations. Stage and final inspection follows an approved quality assurance plan, with radiographic, ultrasonic, dye penetrant and magnetic particle examination as required.
Refineries, chemical and fertiliser plants, pharmaceutical facilities, power stations, steel mills, cement works, water treatment schemes and edible oil refineries. Each sector brings a different fluid, code requirement and material selection, addressed at the design stage.
Raw material is verified against specification on receipt. Stage and final inspection follows a quality assurance plan agreed prior to fabrication. Depending on the duty and the customer specification, this includes:
Most enquiries are answered the same working day. Give us the line size, flow rate, fluid and operating conditions and we will engineer directly against them.
